Advisory Board

The UW Genetic Counseling Graduate Program advisory board provides high-level oversight and support of continuous improvement in matters related to:

  • Adherence to the standards of the Accreditation Council for Genetic Counseling
  • Assessment and evaluation of program performance
  • Changes to program curriculum or direction

The advisory board meets at least annually to ensure that the GCGP is compliant with all ACGC standards and that the program is succeeding in its mission to train genetic counselors who are proficient in all ACGC Practice-Based Competencies.
